MRTI Presents Devin Cuddy with support from Josh Bravener
The Wilser's Room
Doors 6:30PM / Show 7:00PM
$20 adv / $25 at the door
Devin Cuddy is a singer songwriter based in Toronto. From an early age he was drawn to music of the past. While sifting through his father's (Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo) CD collection, he found the music of Louis Armstrong and New Orleans blues piano players like Dr John and Professor Longhair. After attending York University for Jazz Piano, Devin starting hanging around Toronto's Cameron House, where he was inspired by the local singer songwriter scene. He began his performing career alone at the piano, playing every Wednesday night. It was during this time that he began writing and testing out his own material on an ever growing crowd. Drawing from inspirations like Randy Newman and Steve Earle, Devin started to build up a catalogue of his own material.

Heavy Rayne + The Sick Bandits + Straight On Till Morning
The Cap
Doors 8:30PM / Show 9:00PM
$25
Heavy Rayne is a new Alternative Metal band from the Canadian Maritimes. The band is truly unique in sound. Fronted by Jessika Gauvin, whose voice soars loud and atmospheric with tracks such as "Love's Requiem." The emotional "When Love and Death Embrace," and the true story of death and sobriety, "Rise from the Ashes."
The band was formed in January of 2020, by Guitarist Austin Campbell & Bassist Chris “DJ Shilo” Simpkins. After everything started to finally come together in, June 2024, the band came crashing down, with both the Guitarist and Bassist, weathering through personal storms to the point where the band seemed dead. Jessika and Drummer Dan “Deedzy” Martian came on board and resurrected the band from the dead in October, 2024.
With a trilogy of albums ready to go, the band is bringing their heavy metal show to the stage. With lyrics penned by Shilo about adolescence, substance abuse, death and hope, he hoped to create something people could latch onto forever.
The band is taking their unique opportunity of being signed to a record label from Canada that is giving them the opportunity of a lifetime, and the band is dedicated to making a difference as a platform and a name.

Kylie Fox with Katie Schurman
The Cap
Doors 7:30PM / Show 8:00PM
$20 adv / $25 at the door
It’s Kylie Fox’s birthday! Canadian folk-songstress Kylie Fox brings her acclaimed album Sequoia (2024) to the stage this Spring for the ‘There Are Only So Many Great Nights’ Tour. She is making a special stop at The Cap in Fredericton to celebrate the new album and her birthday, all in one! Joined with her five-piece band, she will share the stories behind songs like "Confetti' and 'Brandi Baby', that delve into themes of gratitude towards the women in her life, the environment, her relationships and herself. The show is a dynamic homage to the record, exhibiting whimsical flute solos, three part harmony, quiet acoustic moments, and a captivating voice that's an invitation into Kylie's world. Amplify Magazine says, “Her charisma is invigorating, creating a warm, safe listening place, even when the topics at hand have heft and weight”. Find Your Sounds says “Just about everybody in the industry is sitting up and taking notice.” Fans of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush and Brandi Carlile will fall in love with Kylie Fox.
To listen to Sequoia, visit Kylie's Linktree https://linktr.ee/_KylieFox_

Originally from Embro, Ontario, 20-year-old Katie Schurman has called Fredericton home for the last 3 years. Since diving into the city’s music scene shortly after turning 19, she has been honing her craft through open mics and local gigs. Inspired by storytelling, Katie is now working on her debut album with plans to release music soon!
